Random pics....

It was a beautiful day yesterday. The sun was out! Yey! (finally!) So I put on my walking shoes & went out for a walk.
The good day inspired me to share random photos that I've taken here & there on sunny days like yesterday.
One of them is just from the back garden, a couple from the park & one that I took a while back...

I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for a nice weather this weekend! =)

Berlin Bridges

The third & last of the Berlin series:

Didn't I mention in my first entry that I love bridges?  Now here are some more...

Oberbaumbrücke
They say this is the most beautiful bridge here in Berlin. It crosses the river Spree between Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg.

Schlossbrücke
The Palace Bridge (Schlossbrucke) is located between the Palace Square (Schlossplatz) and the famous avenue "under the lime trees" (Unter den Linden). It has beautiful ornaments and is decorated with 8 neo-classical sculptures.

Jungfernbruecke (Virgin bridge), oldest existing bridge of Berlin

Berlin 1

Late last year a German friend of ours invited us to visit Berlin with them. We had it all planned out but because of the postal strike our visas didn't get delivered on time. But we still went when we finally got our visas, and its a good thing we did. We had a really great time. Berlin was beautiful, the people were friendly and food & transportation were affordable. Plus most people can speak English which is a major plus (we were a little worried going there without our friend).  See, we got ourselves worried there for nothing!

Here's the first installment of pics:

Hythe Marina

There are those rare times when we're spontaneous and this is one of them.  Instead of driving home we drove to Hythe and had dinner out. This is where we ended up:

The Hythe Marina

The Hythe Marina was the first marina village to be built in the UK. It is located on the western shore of Southampton water. There are waterside houses, shops, restaurant and bars. There is also a ferry service which runs right to the centre of Soton.

who wouldn't enjoy dinner with this view?

the different lines just caught my eyes....

Heath Pond, Petersfield

I have a friend who got married in Petersfield over a year ago. And I saw this pond on the way. So I made a mental note to go back there for a little picnic and to take some pictures. And these are what I came up with...
