These pics were taken from our friend Mhairi's apartment when we went there last night. She's leaving us after 2 years of being one of our students to go back to the Navy.

We had pizza, a bit of wine and a lot of laughs!

Yum Cha Sunday

Yum cha is a Cantonese term meaning "drink tea'. It pertains to eating different foods in small servings whilst drinking Chinese tea. Here in England the word “Dim sum” is often used as the name for Yum cha. 

Dim sum are usually served in the mornings till noon. But at our favourite Chinese restaurant here in Southampton (the Dragon Palace) they serve them from noon to 6pm. This works well for me as I go there as a treat whenever I work Sundays (I work till 5pm every 10 weeks).

These are what we ordered. I'll order different dim sum next time and will post more photos then.

10 Weird & Wonderful Things About Me

1. I'm one of those people who have 1 million email addresses (it's actually only 5, but it feels like a million sometimes =D )

2. I always carry a camera &/or camera-phone with me. You never know when a photo opportunity will come along...

3. I heart Josh Groban (when is he coming back here to do another concert?)

4.  I'm a freak! My left foot is smaller than my right, yikes!!!

5. I love to eat, I'm grumpy without my breakfast & I eat at least 5 times a day... (takaw/greedy!)

Marwell Zoological Park is found in Colden Common, Winchester in Hampshire. It is owned and run by Marwell Preservation Trust. It is a charity committed to the conservation of wildlife here and abroad.

I attended a double birthday celebration/ christening of a good friend's son. ( Was also honored to be asked to be a godmother). And of course I didn't let this occasion pass without taking photos of the ever colorful Filipino food.

Photo Hunt - Pointed

I decided to go for a different take on the theme, Pointed.

The Needles Rocks and Lighthouse, Isle of Wight

The needles is the island's most famous landmark. It is a row of three very distinct stacks of chalk that rise out of the sea off the western extremity of the Isle of Wight here in England.

The sea around the Needles was notorious for shipwrecks. Thus the lighthouse which was built in 1785. The current lighthouse was built during the 1850's. 

More Bridges...

For those who've browsed through all my entries would know that I love bridges (my very first entry here were pictures of some of the very first bridges I've photographed, then I posted more bridges this time from Berlin, less than a month ago). 

Then a colleague of mine asked me the other day when I'll be posting some more of them and I told him soon.  So as promised, here they are...
