I decided to go for a different take on the theme, Pointed.
The Needles Rocks and Lighthouse, Isle of Wight
The needles is the island's most famous landmark. It is a row of three very distinct stacks of chalk that rise out of the sea off the western extremity of the Isle of Wight here in England.
The sea around the Needles was notorious for shipwrecks. Thus the lighthouse which was built in 1785. The current lighthouse was built during the 1850's.

That place is beautiful but very dangerous to ships.
Nice take.
It may be a 'different' kind of pointed, but wow...is it ever beautiful!!
Mine's shared.
Looks almost like a sea monster. I can sure understand why so many shipwrecks! Nice one!

Fabulous shot. I love it!
Thanks for dropping by!
That's pretty cool. Am I right to assume that the only way to get to the lighthouse is by boat?
Mahalo for visiting me at my blog.
This is a very interesting shot. This photo instinctively took me back to Peter Pan for some reason.
Lovely.
England.....hopefully someday I would be able to pay another visit.
Thanks for dropping by.

Such an interesting place! Nice pic too!
Thanks for sharing a place I will likely never get to visit and it's history. Those are very pointed rocks and a very pointed purpose for the lighthouse--to point the way for the ships to go (or not go).
nice pics u got there ;-) thanks for dropping by
Interesting :)
That is a wonderful photo. Would love to be standing there looking out at that view. Have a good weekend.
That looks like a very interesting place. Very unique and pointed rock formations.
Very cool shot! And natural rock formation too -- dangerous though it is. Thanks for sharing!! :)

Lovely photo, and very interesting story, Kaycee.
Thank you so much for your sweet comments on my Pollywog Creek Pointed post.
I hope you have had a delightful weekend.
Wow. I'd love to see this in person from your vantage point, not from a ship/boat...
Gorgeous, truly stunning :)
Would hate to get shipwrecked on those things - they are definitely pointed!
They also look like camel's hump above the water level. Thanks for the pretty shots and dropping by.
